We wanted to start this blog and we plan on adding to it often. It’ll primarily be focused on news with our band, but we want to kick it off by introducing a segment where we show appreciation to the great people we get to work with and those who go the extra mile to help us out along this wonderful journey. The first artist we’d like to feature is the one and only Kaylee Garrett.
We met Kaylee in 2018 and have been great friends since. She is still our band's photographer for pretty much everything and even filmed our first music video for ‘Melancholy’ which you can find on YouTube. When we met, we were just starting out with our band and she was still finding her niche. During this time she’d spend days working with us and never asked for a single penny. I don’t think we realized how important it was to have not only good quality pictures, but a great photographer behind the lens working with us. We were truly lucky beyond belief to have someone that talented as a friend.
Working with Kaylee is a great experience, and although some people may be hesitant to hire a professional photographer, she makes you feel comfortable and somehow always captures you at your best. She’s professional, enjoyable, and turns out the final product at a rapid pace. If you’re looking for live shots, studio shots, or press photos you won’t find anyone better!
Kaylee has already accomplished so much in the early stages of her career. She’s been featured in articles with Voyage LA and Shoutout LA. She has shot for pop punk bands like Hot Mulligan, PVMNTS, WSTR and of course PCL. She still continues to pursue her dreams as a concert photographer while studying business administration at Cal State East Bay.
Her style is unique and it's very easy to spot one of her pictures when you see one. It’s an aesthetic unmatched and we can not wait to watch her succeed in the pursuit of her dreams. Kaylee wants the world to see her passion and we know that it will!
